It’s 2007, and the memory of being assaulted at a party, finding a hired gunman online, and hiding out in a seedy hotel until the coast was clear; is behind her now. Yvette is free to pursue her dreams of dressing the stars and forget about the past. After leaving the dirty halls of the Southwest Hotel where she lived among the transients,and prostitutes; Yvette moved to a luxury high rise apartment, and put the embezzled funds that were stolen by her late husband Rick Watson to a better use. Yvette makes new friends at her new business college and is finally attending classes with more ease than before. She meets Pattie James and the trust and friendship that developed between the two of them, is what she needed after her ex roommate Marty Fillmore; ran off with another one of her men. The guys at school are cute and has her attention, but not for very long. Yvette found a part time job to show that she is supporting herself, but now she is freely spending the stolen funds and funneling them into her bank account. She still looks over her shoulder, but not as much anymore. There is an abandoned warehouse that will make a nice little boutique that she can get dirt cheap; and build up to the standards that she has dreamt about all of her life. With a job, a new best friend, and her family’s loving support, Yvette is finally having the adventure that she hopes will fulfill her dreams. Now that her head is clear and her enemies are either dead or in jail; Yvette can obtain her college degree, open her dress shop and hopefully find true love that will last. It shouldn’t be that hard.
